Gaggia Accademia: touch-screen bean-to-cup with a real steam wand
Most automatic machines make you choose between convenience and control. The Accademia gives you both. Its milk carafe pours cappuccinos and latte macchiatos on its own, while a separate all-stainless steam wand lets you stretch milk yourself when you feel like practising latte art. Built in Italy, it sits at the top of Gaggia’s home range.
Controls you can actually read
A 5-inch full-colour touch display with 3D drink icons sits beside a rotary selector and backlit buttons, and a red light line across the front guides you through each step. The brewing head is height-adjustable and cast in zama alloy, so tall glasses and small espresso cups both fit under the spouts. A stainless cup warmer on top keeps cups ready, and the machine drops into stand-by on its own to save power.
