Group head body for Gaggia Classic and Baby

The group body carries the portafilter lugs, the shower screen and the gasket seat. If the lugs are worn or the housing is corroded, the portafilter will not lock tightly no matter how new the gasket is. It is usually replaced alongside the boiler during a full rebuild.

Chrome finish, drilled mounting flange

This housing has a bright chrome finish over metal, a ring of threaded mounting holes and a side manifold that bolts to the boiler. Inside you can see the bayonet ramps and the central screw points for the dispersion plate.
