6 mm Inline Water Filter for Coffee Machines

This small clear filter fits between two lengths of 6 mm tube in the water line of a coffee machine. Its mesh catches grit and scale flakes before they can reach the pump or the flow meter.

Why fit one

Machines that draw from a tank can pick up debris, and a blocked pump or flowmeter is a far bigger job than a cheap filter. Because the body is transparent you can see when it needs replacing. The clear body also shows which way the water is flowing, so fitting it the right way round is straightforward. Replace it whenever the mesh looks dirty or the machine’s flow starts to drop.
