Mazzer Major VP Electronic: power at lower speed
Most grinders get their speed from high rpm, which adds heat and noise. The VP uses a high-torque asynchronous motor that grinds quickly at 900–1,200 rpm, protecting flavour and extending burr life.
What the variable speed means behind the bar
Being able to grind at lower rpm with high torque gives baristas another way to manage heat and noise during long services. Three programmable doses keep the team working from the same presets, while Grind Flow Control and double-fan cooling help consistency hold through a busy morning.
IoT monitoring is most useful for owners running several venues, as it lets them keep track of how grinders are used across sites. Both the black and the white finish are offered. Brush out the chute daily, keep the hopper filled without packing it, and re-dial after each change of coffee. The burrs still wear, so schedule replacements.
Modern control
Three programmable doses, Grind Flow Control, double-fan cooling and built-in IoT monitoring make it a strong fit for multi-site operators.
