Orchestrale Nota EVO: touchscreen control on an E61 classic
The Nota EVO takes the curved, Italian-built Nota body and adds a round touch display above the group. Behind the panels sits a 3-litre copper boiler, a raised E61 brew group and a 100 L/h Fluid-o-Tech GA rotary pump driven by a speed-controlled motor. A pressure transducer reads what the pump is doing, while an NTC probe feeds the PID so the temperature you set is the temperature you get.
What the screen lets you change
From the display you can set brew temperature, programme four volumetric doses and four pre-infusion times, and watch flow rate alongside a digital chrono. A shot timer and counter keep track of your routine, and service parameters are tucked into their own menu. Three saved profiles change the balance of the machine: Extraction for dialling in single origins and blends, Latte/Steam for strong steaming and latte art, and Hybrid for a mix of both.
Water supply your way
A switch selects between the 2.2-litre tank, which has a capacitive level sensor, and a direct mains connection, so it can sit on a bench or be plumbed in later.
