Quick Mill Aquila rotary pump espresso machine
The Aquila is the machine in the Quick Mill range for people who want a rotary pump at home. Rotary pumps run more quietly than vibration pumps, and on the Aquila the pressure can be adjusted from the side panel. You can fill the 3-litre tank by hand or connect it straight to a water line.
E61 group with heat exchanger
A chromed brass E61 group sits under a 1.8-litre stainless boiler fitted with a heat exchanger, so brewing and steaming happen together. PID lets you choose the brew temperature, and a double-scale gauge shows boiler pressure and extraction pressure. An expansion valve lets you tune brew pressure as well.
Safety and convenience
Both the steam and hot water wands are insulated against burns. An electronic sensor refills the boiler automatically, an alarm sounds when the tank runs dry, and a stand-by mode lowers power use between sessions. LED lighting and a stainless cup warmer finish off the design.
