Vacuum breaker for Expobar boilers
As a boiler cools, steam condenses and can pull a vacuum that draws milk or water back through the wands. The anti-vacuum valve lets air in at that point and seals again once pressure builds.
Brass body, PTFE seat
The valve has a hex brass body, a 1/4″ male thread and a white PTFE-capped plunger that lifts to vent. A valve that hisses constantly or never vents should be replaced; mineral build-up is the common cause. Expobar boilers use this particular body length and thread, so a generic valve may not seat correctly; match the shape against your old part before ordering.
