Setting up doses on the Q50 Electronic

Once the single and double doses are programmed on the display, staff press a button and get the same amount each time, which helps when more than one person is making coffee. Manual mode stays available for testing a new blend or pulling an odd-sized shot.

As a second grinder in a small café, it works well for a decaf or a guest single origin alongside the main espresso. Fine adjustment steps make dialling in gradual, so change a little at a time and taste. Recheck dose times after switching beans, since a different roast can grind faster or slower. Keep the hopper topped up, but avoid packing it to the brim.
