Using the M80 Push as a second grinder

Many cafés keep a separate grinder for decaf so the main espresso grinder stays dialled in for the house blend, and the M80 Push is designed for that kind of small-capacity job. At home it works the same way for a second bean or a single origin you only drink occasionally. Because the grind adjustment is stepped, write down the step that suits each coffee and you can return to it quickly. Without a timer, grind into the portafilter and check the dose on scales until you learn the timing by feel. Keep the hopper lightly filled if the grinder sees little use, so beans stay fresh.
