Panica Coffee

Dr Coffee Coffee Machine Repairs

Panica sells, rents and repairs Dr. Coffee bean-to-cup machines, so our Melbourne technicians know these models from the inside, from the small F10 and Minibar through to the twin-grinder F2 Plus and the high-volume Coffee Master 200. If yours has stopped grinding, leaks or pours cold drinks, we fix it at your workplace.

  • Fixed on site: a technician comes to the office, café or kitchen where your Dr. Coffee is installed.
  • Clear terms: we quote before starting, use genuine Dr. Coffee parts and stand behind the work with a warranty.
  • Typical wait: 4–24 hours within 30 km of Caulfield South, and 24–48 hours for locations beyond that.

Repair or buy new? Grinder noise, leaking valves, scale-clogged lines and thermostat faults are standard repairs on a Dr. Coffee and rarely justify a replacement. If your team has outgrown a compact model such as the F10 or Coffee Break Plus, or an old unit needs several major parts, compare the new Dr. Coffee machines in our shop, or rent an office coffee machine with servicing included.

The Dr. Coffee range we work on

Dr. Coffee makes a wide family of automatic machines. For small offices there are the C11, C12, M10, F10 and Minibar. Mid-sized teams often run an F11 Big, a Coffee Break Big Plus or a Coffee Bar Plus. Busier sites use the F2 Plus and F3 Plus with twin grinders, the F30 Plus with 64 mm burrs, the four-grinder F4, the F100 series with fresh milk or powder, and the Coffee Master 200. Because we supply many of these machines ourselves, we know where each model hides its filters, valves and sensors.

Problems we fix most often

The screen stays dark

Start with the obvious: a tripped breaker or a damaged lead. Inside the machine, scale can short a component or a power board can fail. We trace the supply from the socket to the controller.

Grinding or brewing sounds wrong

Rattling and labouring noises usually mean the water reservoir is empty, a stray coffee bean is caught in the grinder, or scale has built up in the pipes and is starving the pump.

Water on the bench

Loose valves, a part knocked out of line during cleaning, or tired seals are the common sources. We tighten or replace them and pressure test the circuit afterwards.

Drinks take too long

Mineral deposits in the lines and heater slow every cup. A full descale and a check of the heating element usually bring the speed back.

Lukewarm coffee

A faulty thermostat or a machine that has not warmed up fully gives flat, cool drinks. We test the temperature control and replace the thermostat if it is drifting.

From phone call to working machine

Book online or on 1300 529 505 and tell us the model and symptom, and a confirmation of your Dr. Coffee booking follows inside one business day. The technician arrives inside the response window, diagnoses the fault and quotes. Once you approve, the repair goes ahead with genuine parts. If a part is not on hand, we order it and return to finish the job.

Looking after a Dr. Coffee day to day

  • Run the automatic rinse at the start and end of each day.
  • Clean the milk pipe and the fridge connection on models with fresh milk.
  • Keep powder hoppers on the Coffee Centre and F100P dry and topped up.
  • Descale on schedule, or fit a filter where the water is hard.
